In today’s episode of Ellas, Rosalía Rivera is an empowered mujer on a mission to end child sexual abuse and to help survivors become free and feel liberated to heal. Her passion for always fighting for the underdog and the most vulnerable motivated her to launch CONSENTparenting™.
Rosalía Rivera is the founder of CONSENTparenting™, an online platform for survivor parents to learn how to protect their families from abuse. Rosalia herself is a survivor turned thriver who advocates for those who were hurt and in this empowering conversation shares with us how she turned her focus to survivors of sexual trauma.
She’s an inspiring consent educator who believes that educating our children, who are the most vulnerable in our society is a powerful way to teach them about being vocal throughout their lives. We’re in total agreement, to be able to pave our paths and embrace our stories, we need to learn about consent and be vocal about it.
We also talk about the other pandemic and how child sexual abuse has risen during COVID-19. Rosalia also shares powerful actions to help educate our younger generation about consent, ways to do self-care if you’re starting your healing journey, and how she began her own empowering journey.
